The Hermitage was built in 1965 when U.S. 250 was a busy north-south artery. With a reputation for good reasonable food, hundreds would fill the restaurant daily. Today more leisurely visitors of "Nature's Mountain Playground" enjoy good family dining with regular menu dishes such as General Bartow's Ribeye Steak and the Hermitage’s Bumbleberry Pie. Stop by for breakfast or dinner.
The Restaurant is closed for the Winter Season. There are a few local choices for eating in the Northern Pocahontas area. Ask our staff for more details.
